Human Aconitate hydratase, mitochondrial (ACO2) ELISA Kit

Designed for quantitative measurement of human Aconitate hydratase, mitochondrial (ACO2), this Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is configured to detect natural and recombinant human Aconitate hydratase, mitochondrial. The assay is intended for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, with a detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.082ng/mL.

Precision has been characterized with an intra-assay CV of 4.4% and an inter-assay CV of 7.8%. Linearity has been demonstrated across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16. Recovery averages 93% (range 87-99%) for serum and 95% (range 89-101%) for plasma. ACO2 is a monomeric mitochondrial enzyme that catalyzes the isomerization of citrate to isocitrate via cis-aconitate in the TCA cycle, and dysregulation of ACO2 has been linked to metabolic disorders, neurodegenerative disease and cancer.
