Human AChE (Acetylcholinesterase) CLIA Kit (HUES00187)

A chemiluminescence immunoassay from Assay Genie designed for the accurate measurement of AChE (acetylcholinesterase) levels in human samples, including serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. The kit is suited to research applications where AChE activity is of interest, particularly studies of neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's disease and Parkinson's disease, as dysregulation of AChE has been implicated in these conditions. Acetylcholinesterase is an essential enzyme that breaks down the neurotransmitter acetylcholine in the nervous system.

The assay uses a Sandwich-CLIA principle on a pre-coated micro CLIA plate, with an assay time of 4.5h. Sensitivity is 0.19 ng/mL and the detection range is 0.31-20 ng/mL. The required sample volume is 100μL, and the kit applies to the in vitro quantitative determination of Human AChE concentrations in serum, plasma and other biological fluids. The kit specifically recognizes Human AChE in samples, with no significant cross-reactivity or interference between Human AChE and analogues observed.

Reproducibility is reported with both intra-CV and inter-CV below 15%. Reported precision includes intra-assay CV values of 11.01%, 10.73% and 9.5%, and inter-assay CV values of 9.57%, 7.05% and 11.45%. Linearity has been evaluated in serum, EDTA plasma and cell culture media across dilutions of 1:2 to 1:16. Recovery ranges from 84-97% in serum (average 91%), 94-107% in EDTA plasma (average 101%), and 85-96% in cell culture media (average 91%).
