Human Acetolactate synthase-like protein (ILVBL) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative detection of human Acetolactate synthase-like protein (ILVBL), also referred to as IlvB-like protein or AHAS. The assay is reactive with human samples and is supplied for research use only.

According to the manufacturer, the kit measures natural and recombinant human ILVBL in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.098ng/mL, with an intra-assay CV of 4.3% and inter-assay CV of 7.5%. Spike-and-recovery values are given as 88% (82-94%) for serum and 90% (84-96%) for plasma, and linearity is reported across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma.

The kit is supplied with a dismountable ELISA microplate, lyophilized standard, sample and assay diluents, detection reagents A and B, wash buffer, substrate, stop solution and plate sealers, with component-specific storage temperatures. The target is a single-pass membrane protein (UniProt A1L0T0) of approximately 68kDa that shares similarity with bacterial acetolactate synthases involved in branched-chain amino acid biosynthesis.
