Human ACE-2 PharmaGenie ELISA Kit (SBRS0216)

ACE-2 (Angiotensin-Converting Enzyme 2) is a transmembrane zinc metalloprotease that converts angiotensin II into angiotensin-(1-7) and acts as the principal host cell entry receptor for SARS-CoV-2. Quantifying ACE-2 protein levels is therefore central to research in cardiovascular biology, pulmonary pathophysiology, and viral infection mechanisms.

The Assay Genie human ACE-2 immunoassay is supplied as a complete reagent kit with pre-coated microplate wells, ready-to-use buffers, and a chromogenic readout measured at 450 nm. The assay uses a 100 µL sample volume per well, has a detection range of 0.16–10 ng/mL, and is species-specific for human ACE-2 with no cross-reactivity to ACE. The kit can be applied to diverse human-derived specimens, including cell culture supernatants, cell lysates, plasma, serum, and tissue lysates, supporting flexible study design across in vitro and in vivo experimental models.
