Human ABP1/AOC1 ELISA Kit

Assay Genie offers a colorimetric Sandwich ELISA kit designed for the quantitative measurement of human ABP1/AOC1, also known as alpha-1-B glycoprotein 1, amiloride-sensitive amine oxidase (copper-containing), diamine oxidase (DAO), kidney amine oxidase (KAO), amiloride-binding protein (ABP), or histaminase. The kit is intended for research applications in cell biology, where ABP1/AOC1 has been described as a protein involved in inflammatory responses and oxidative stress and implicated in liver diseases, inflammatory disorders, and cancer.

Validated for use with human samples, the assay accepts serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid sample types, and uses a double-antibody sandwich format with TMB substrate development read at 450 nm. Reported performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 0.938 ng/mL and a standard curve range of 1.563–100 ng/mL. Linearity across 1:2 to 1:8 dilutions has been demonstrated in serum (93–105% to 93–101%), EDTA plasma (83–100% to 84–100%) and heparin plasma (90–98% to 80–99%). Spike-and-recovery performance is reported at 89–104% (average 98%) for serum, 90–104% (average 97%) for EDTA plasma, and 85–104% (average 92%) for heparin plasma. The kit is supplied with biotin-labeled detection antibody, HRP-streptavidin conjugate (SABC), TMB substrate, lyophilized standard, sample and antibody dilution buffers, wash buffer, plate sealer and a technical manual, with components stored at 2–8°C (or +4°C) and shipped at +4°C.
