Tyrosine-protein kinase ABL1 is a non-receptor kinase central to cell signaling, cell division, and the cellular DNA damage response, and it is most extensively studied in the context of chronic myeloid leukemia (CML). In CML, the BCR-ABL fusion oncoprotein generated by the Philadelphia chromosome translocation drives aberrant proliferation and is the primary target of small-molecule tyrosine kinase inhibitors including imatinib, dasatinib, and nilotinib. The Assay Genie human ABL1 ELISA Kit provides a quantitative immunoassay for measuring ABL1 levels in research samples, supporting studies of inhibitor resistance, kinase pathway dysregulation, and translational hematology biomarker discovery.

The kit is supplied with reagents for 96 Assays and uses a matched-antibody capture and detection format that delivers results through a chromogenic readout compatible with standard microplate readers. Typical workflows pair this ELISA with western blot confirmation, kinase activity profiling, and cell culture-based inhibitor screening to cross-validate ABL1 expression or activity changes across complementary experimental systems, including leukemic cell line models and primary hematopoietic research samples.

Reagents should be refrigerated on arrival and kept protected from light to preserve antibody performance. For long-term storage, aliquot the reconstituted standard before freezing and minimize repeated freeze-thaw cycles. For research use only; not intended for diagnostic or clinical applications.
