Human ABCB4/MDR3 ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative detection of ABCB4/MDR3 in human samples, and is intended for research applications including studies of multidrug resistance, cellular homeostasis, and diseases such as liver disease, inflammatory conditions, and cancer.

The assay is a colorimetric, double-antibody sandwich ELISA with a sensitivity of 46.875 pg/mL and a working range of 78.125-5000 pg/mL. It accepts serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid sample types. Sample linearity in serum is 90-104% at 1:2, 88-103% at 1:4, and 85-102% at 1:8; EDTA plasma shows 88-100%, 87-92% and 85-100% at the same dilutions; heparin plasma shows 83-96%, 84-97% and 83-94%. Spike-and-recovery averages are 95% in serum and EDTA plasma and 96% in heparin plasma, with corresponding recovery ranges of 90-105%, 87-103% and 91-100%. The procedure follows a six-step protocol culminating in a TMB colour-development step with absorbance read at 450 nm.

The kit is stored at 2-8°C and is stable for 12 months. Components include a dismountable ELISA microplate, lyophilised standard, biotin-labelled antibody (100X), HRP-streptavidin conjugate (SABC, 100X), TMB substrate, sample, antibody and SABC dilution buffers, stop solution, 25X wash buffer, plate sealers and a technical manual.
