Human A-GST (A-glutathione S-transferases) ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative detection of Human A-GST (A-glutathione S-transferases) in human samples. A-GST is an enzyme involved in detoxification processes, helping to protect cells from reactive oxygen species and toxic compounds, and its levels can serve as a biomarker of oxidative stress and cellular damage relevant to studies of liver disease, cancer, and drug metabolism.

The assay uses a Double Antibody Sandwich ELISA format with colorimetric detection, a sensitivity of 0.938 mIU/mL, and a measuring range of 1.563-100 mIU/mL. It is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, and should be stored at 2-8°C for 12 months. The workflow involves a 90-minute primary incubation at 37°C, a 60-minute biotin-labeled detection antibody binding step, a 30-minute HRP-Streptavidin incubation, and 10–20 minutes of TMB color development in the dark, followed by reading absorbance at 450 nm.

Reported linearity for serum at 1:2 dilution is 86-103% (falling to 81-97% at 1:8), EDTA plasma 85-105% to 80-99%, and heparin plasma 87-97% to 81-100%. Recovery averages are 94% for serum, 96% for EDTA plasma, and 96% for heparin plasma across the same matrices.
