Human A disintegrin and metalloproteinase with thrombospondin motifs 9 (ADAMTS9) ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of human A disintegrin and metalloproteinase with thrombospondin motifs 9 (ADAMTS9) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and is reactive with human samples.

Manufacturer specifications report a detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.078ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is 3.9% and inter-assay CV is 6.5%. The kit is specific for natural and recombinant human ADAMTS9 and is for research use only. ADAMTS9 is a metalloproteinase involved in extracellular matrix remodeling, cleaving aggrecan and versican, and has been implicated in cancer, arthritis, and cardiovascular disorders.

Recovery data report an average of 85% for serum (range 80-91%) and 87% for plasma (range 81-93%). Linearity was demonstrated across serial dilutions in serum (82-112%), EDTA plasma (103-119%), and heparin plasma (99-109%). The assay follows a standard sandwich format with incubations at 37°C and absorbance read at 450nm. Kit components include a dismountable microplate, lyophilized standard, sample and assay diluents, detection reagents, wash buffer, substrate solution, and stop solution, with most reagents stored at -20°C and the wash buffer, substrate, and stop solution at 4°C.
