Human A disintegrin and metalloproteinase with thrombospondin motifs 7 (ADAMTS7) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's Human ADAMTS7 Sandwich ELISA Kit is a colorimetric immunoassay for the quantitative detection of A disintegrin and metalloproteinase with thrombospondin motifs 7 (also known as COMPase) in human biological samples. ADAMTS7 is a metalloprotease that may play a role in the degradation of COMP and is involved in extracellular matrix remodeling, with research associations to cardiovascular disorders, osteoarthritis, and cancer.

Validated sample types include serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The kit reports a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.039 ng/mL, an intra-assay CV of 6.6% and an inter-assay CV of 8.9%. Specificity is shown for natural and recombinant human ADAMTS7 (UniProt Q9UKP4), with recovery of 93% (87–99%) in serum and 95% (89–101%) in plasma.
