Human A disintegrin and metalloproteinase with thrombospondin motifs 5 (ADAMTS5) ELISA Kit

Reactive with human samples, the kit offers a detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.078ng/mL. Reported precision includes an intra-assay CV of 4.7% and an inter-assay CV of 7.6%.

The kit is specific for natural and recombinant human ADAMTS5 and is intended for cell biology research, for research use only. ADAMTS5 functions as an aggrecanase that cleaves aggrecan, a major cartilage proteoglycan, and may play a role in its turnover. Its dysregulation has been linked to destruction of aggrecan in arthritic diseases such as osteoarthritis, supporting studies of extracellular matrix degradation and tissue remodeling.
