ADAMTS9 is a secreted zinc-dependent metalloprotease that cleaves hyaluronic acid-binding proteoglycans such as aggrecan, brevican, and versican, contributing to extracellular matrix turnover, embryonic organogenesis including kidney and gonad development, and tumor suppression pathways. The kit is suited to in vitro studies of connective tissue biology, cancer biology, and developmental signaling. Colorimetric readout is captured on a standard microplate reader. Reconstituted reagents should be handled per the protocol insert and kits ship refrigerated.
