Human 72 kDa type IV collagenase (MMP2) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of human 72 kDa type IV collagenase (MMP2), also referred to as 72 kDa gelatinase, Gelatinase A, Matrix metalloproteinase-2, TBE-1, and CLG4A. The assay is reactive with human samples and accepts serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, with specificity toward natural and recombinant human 72 kDa type IV collagenase.

Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.312-20ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.078ng/mL. Precision values are an intra-assay CV of 6.5% and an inter-assay CV of 8.9%. Linearity has been evaluated across serial dilutions (1:2, 1:4, 1:8, 1:16) in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma, and recovery testing shows averages of 98% (range 92-104%) for serum and 100% (range 94-106%) for plasma.
