Human 60S ribosomal protein L13 (RPL13) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's sandwich ELISA kit enables the precise quantitative measurement of human 60S ribosomal protein L13 (RPL13) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids, using a colorimetric detection method. RPL13 is a component of the 60S ribosomal subunit with a documented role in protein synthesis. Also known by synonyms including Breast basic conserved protein 1, Large ribosomal subunit protein eL13, OK/SW-cl.46, and BBC1, the protein has been linked to diseases such as cancer, neurodegenerative disorders, and inflammatory conditions, placing the kit within the epigenetics research area.

Quantitative performance is characterised by a detection range of 0.625-40ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.1ng/mL. Reported precision values include an intra-assay CV of 4.9% and an inter-assay CV of 8.5%. Linearity has been validated in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16. Recovery testing reports an average of 103% (range 97-109%) for serum and 105% (range 99-111%) for plasma. Specificity covers natural and recombinant human RPL13 (UniProt P26373).
