Human 6-phosphofructokinase, liver type (PFKL) ELISA Kit

This sandwich-format immunoassay from Assay Genie enables quantitative measurement of human 6-phosphofructokinase, liver type (PFKL) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids [S1].

PFKL is a key enzyme in glycolysis with a critical role in cellular energy production and metabolism; its dysregulation has been linked to diabetes, cancer and metabolic disorders, supporting its use as a biomarker in disease and therapeutic research [S1]. The assay provides a detection range of 1.56–100 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.787 ng/mL, with reported intra-assay CV of 6.9% and inter-assay CV of 9.7% [S1]. Specificity has been demonstrated for natural and recombinant human PFKL, a tetrameric enzyme [S1].

For research use only, the kit uses a colorimetric readout measured at 450 nm [C0][S1]. Linearity has been validated across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16, with recovery of 88–100% in serum and 90–102% in plasma [S1].
