Human 2-oxoglutarate dehydrogenase, mitochondrial (OGDH) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of human 2-oxoglutarate dehydrogenase, mitochondrial (OGDH). The kit is validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, and detects the natural and recombinant human protein. It is intended for research use only.

Reported performance specifications include a detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.01ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is given as 3.8% and inter-assay CV as 7.2%. Recovery in serum averages 95% (range 89-101%) and in plasma averages 97% (range 91-103%). Linearity has been evaluated across serial dilutions in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma.

OGDH is a key enzyme of the tricarboxylic acid (TCA) cycle, catalysing the overall conversion of 2-oxoglutarate to succinyl-CoA and CO2, and is located in the mitochondrial matrix. The kit is listed under the cardiovascular research area and is associated with the UniProt entry Q02218.
