Human 17-Hydroxyprogesterone/17-OHP ELISA Kit

A competitive ELISA from Assay Genie is designed for the precise measurement of 17-hydroxyprogesterone (17-OHP) levels in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants, cell or tissue lysates, and other liquid samples. The colorimetric assay delivers a sensitivity of 0.938 pg/mL with a working range of 1.563–100 pg/mL, and absorbance is read at 450 nm on a standard microplate reader.

17-OHP is a key steroid hormone involved in the synthesis of cortisol and other steroid hormones. Abnormal levels are associated with disorders such as congenital adrenal hyperplasia (CAH), making it an important biomarker for diagnosing and monitoring such conditions.
