Human 14-3-3 protein zeta/delta (YWHAZ) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative detection of human 14-3-3 protein zeta/delta (YWHAZ), also known as protein kinase C inhibitor protein 1 (KCIP-1). The assay is validated for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids, with reactivity confirmed for human samples. The kit is intended for research use only and supports applications in neuroscience research.

Performance figures reported by the manufacturer include a detection range of 15.6-1000pg/mL and a sensitivity of 7.96pg/mL. Reproducibility is reported with an intra-assay CV of 4.3% and an inter-assay CV of 5.7%. Linearity was demonstrated across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions of serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma. Recovery averaged 88% in serum (range 82-94%) and 90% in plasma (range 84-96%). The kit recognises natural and recombinant human 14-3-3 protein zeta/delta (UniProt P63104), an adapter protein that modulates a broad spectrum of signalling pathways by binding to phosphoserine- and phosphothreonine-containing partners, with established roles in signal transduction, cell cycle control and apoptosis.
