HSP90B (Phospho-Ser254)Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

A Cell-Based ELISA Kit from Assay Genie designed for the detection and quantification of phosphorylated HSP90B protein directly in cultured cells. The assay uses an indirect ELISA format, in which HSP90B (Phospho-Ser254) is captured by target-specific primary antibodies and HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies catalyse a colorimetric reaction that is read at 450 nm. The kit has a dynamic range of > 5000 Cells and is intended for use with adherent cells, with reactivity demonstrated in Human, Mouse, and Rat samples.

The kit enables measurement of relative HSP90B phosphorylation levels in response to various treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals), or activators. A monoclonal anti-GAPDH antibody is included as an internal positive control for normalising target absorbance values, and a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining method may be used afterwards to adjust readings for cell density. The HSP90B target (gene symbol HSP90AB1) is a molecular chaperone involved in cellular stress response and protein folding, with phosphorylation at Ser254 regulating its function and stability, making it a relevant target for studies in cancer progression, neurodegenerative diseases, and metabolic disorders.
