HSP90B Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this cell-based ELISA kit enables qualitative measurement of HSP90B protein levels in cultured adherent cells using a lysate-free, indirect ELISA format. HSP90B is captured by target-specific primary antibodies, and HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies bind the Fc region of the primary antibody to catalyse a colorimetric reaction upon substrate addition, with absorbance read at 450 nm.

The kit is reactive with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples and has a dynamic range of greater than 5000 cells. To support normalisation, a monoclonal antibody specific for human GAPDH is included as an internal positive control, and a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining method is provided for determining cell density, allowing absorbance values to be normalised to cell amounts. Storage is at 4 °C with stated stability of 6 months.

HSP90B functions as a molecular chaperone that promotes the maturation, structural maintenance and proper regulation of specific target proteins involved, for instance, in cell cycle control and signal transduction, interacting dynamically with various co-chaperones that modulate its substrate recognition, ATPase cycle and chaperone function.
