HSP40 Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

A colorimetric cell-based ELISA kit from Assay Genie for the qualitative detection of HSP40 (Heat Shock Protein 40) protein expression in cultured adherent cells. The assay is reactive with human, mouse and rat samples, with detection by absorbance measurement at 450 nm and a dynamic range of more than 5000 cells. The kit is supplied in a 96-well microplate format and is stored at 4 °C with a stated stability of 6 months.

The workflow is a lysate-free, high-throughput indirect ELISA: HSP40 is captured by target-specific primary antibodies and detected with HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies, producing a colorimetric signal upon substrate addition. A monoclonal anti-GAPDH antibody is included as an internal positive control for normalisation, and Crystal Violet whole-cell staining is provided so that absorbance values can be normalised to cell density.
