HSP27 (Phospho-Ser78)Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

Designed for the measurement of HSP27 protein phosphorylation at Ser78 in cultured cells, this Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is configured for adherent cell samples. The assay follows an indirect ELISA format in which HSP27 (Phospho-Ser78) is captured by target-specific primary antibodies, while HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies catalyze a colorimetric reaction read at 450 nm.

The lysate-free, high-throughput workflow supports measurement of relative HSP27 phosphorylation in cultured cells as well as screening of treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals), or activators. A monoclonal antibody specific for human GAPDH is included as an internal positive control to normalize target absorbance values, and a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining method is provided to determine cell density. Absorbance values can be adjusted to cell amounts to correct for plating differences. The kit has a dynamic range of > 5000 cells and is supplied as 2 x 96-Well Microplates.
