HSP10 Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this cell-based ELISA kit enables the qualitative detection of HSP10, providing a convenient, lysate-free and high-throughput workflow for profiling HSP10 protein expression directly in cultured cells. Detection is achieved through an indirect ELISA format: HSP10-specific primary antibodies capture the target, while HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies bind the Fc region of the primary antibody and catalyse a colorimetric reaction upon substrate addition that is read at 450 nm.

To support accurate normalisation, a monoclonal anti-GAPDH antibody is included as an internal positive control, and a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining step allows absorbance values to be adjusted to cell density. The assay is suitable for adherent cells and can be used to measure relative HSP10 levels, as well as to screen the effects that various treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals) or activators have on HSP10 expression.

Reactivity covers Human, Mouse and Rat samples, with a dynamic range of more than 5,000 cells. The kit is supplied in a 96-well microplate format, has a storage stability of 6 months at 4°C, and targets the HSPE1 gene product (UniProt ID P61604), a mitochondrial chaperonin of 10,932 Da involved in protein folding and the cellular stress response.
