Equine Serum Amyloid A (SAA) is a major acute-phase protein whose circulating concentration rises rapidly during inflammation, infection, and tissue injury, making it one of the most responsive biomarkers for veterinary and research monitoring of equine health. The Assay Genie SAA kit provides an immunoassay for quantifying this protein in horse samples, supporting studies of inflammatory disease progression, post-surgical recovery, antimicrobial response, and exercise-induced stress in performance horses.

Reagents are supplied in a microplate configuration sufficient for 96 individual determinations, with pre-coated wells, calibrated reference standards, detection antibody, wash buffer, and substrate included for a complete workflow.
