Horse FSH (Follicle Stimulating Hormone) ELISA Kit (HRFI0025)

An ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of Horse Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH). The assay uses a double-antigen sandwich ELISA format on a pre-coated microplate, with signal generated by a TMB substrate and read colorimetrically at 450 nm using a microplate reader.

Validated sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Performance specifications include a sensitivity of 1.875 mIU/mL and a measuring range of 3.125-200 mIU/mL. Linearity data show serum (n = 10) ranging from 90-104% at 1:2, 87-103% at 1:4, and 92-103% at 1:8; EDTA plasma (n = 10) from 86-101%, 83-100%, and 91-99%; and heparin plasma (n = 10) from 81-98%, 83-99%, and 84-97%. Average recoveries are 95% for serum (range 88-104%), 93% for EDTA plasma (range 85-101%), and 97% for heparin plasma (range 87-104%).

The kit is supplied sealed and stored at 2-8°C; it should not be cryopreserved.
