CCL3, also called Macrophage Inflammatory Protein-1 alpha (MIP-1α), is a pro-inflammatory CC chemokine secreted by activated macrophages, lymphocytes, and dendritic cells that drives chemotaxis of monocytes, T cells, and eosinophils during innate immune responses. This Assay Genie DIY-format kit is configured for equine research and provides the capture antibody, biotinylated detection antibody, recombinant protein standard, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, wash concentrate, TMB substrate, and stop solution so the user coats their own microplate wells. Reagents should be stored refrigerated and the lyophilized standard reconstituted and aliquoted for frozen storage to minimize freeze-thaw cycles. The colorimetric readout is captured on a standard plate reader, and the kit is supplied in a configuration supporting up to 10 microplates.
