The Assay Genie DIY ELISA Kit format supplies lyophilised capture antibody, biotinylated detection reagent, recombinant standard, and streptavidin-HRP concentrate, letting the end user coat and assemble their own microplate for quantitative measurement of equine CCL2/MCP-1 in research samples. MCP-1 is a 13 kDa CC-chemokine that directs monocyte and macrophage trafficking during inflammation, and the reagents support veterinary studies of equine laminitis, endotoxemia, recurrent airway obstruction (heaves), osteoarthritis, and post-exercise inflammatory responses.

Bulk components are supplied in sealed vials sufficient for up to 10 microplates and should be stored refrigerated on receipt; once reconstituted, the standard and streptavidin-HRP working solution should be aliquoted and held frozen to limit freeze-thaw loss. The kit is intended for in vitro research use only and is not for diagnostic procedures.
