Homovanillic acid (HVA) ELISA Kit

A competitive ELISA kit from Assay Genie supports the detection of Homovanillic acid (HVA), a metabolite of dopamine and norepinephrine, in human samples including serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. The assay uses a colorimetric readout with a measuring range of 0.78-50 ng/mL, is supplied for research use only, and serves research in neurological and psychiatric conditions such as Parkinson's disease, schizophrenia, and autism, where abnormal HVA levels have been associated with disease. The workflow begins with the addition of standard, blank, or sample to each well, followed by a working detection reagent, with incubation at 37°C for 1 hour.
