Histone H3 (Phospho-Thr3)Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

A colorimetric cell-based ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the qualitative detection of Histone H3 phosphorylated at threonine 3 in cultured cells. The assay uses an indirect ELISA format with HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies, and is described as a lysate-free, high-throughput, sensitive method for measuring relative phosphorylation and expression of Histone H3 without lysate preparation.

The kit is validated for Human, Mouse and Rat samples and is suited to adherent cells, with a dynamic range of > 5000 Cells and detection by absorbance at 450 nm. A monoclonal GAPDH antibody is included as an internal positive control for normalisation, and Crystal Violet whole-cell staining is provided to adjust absorbance readings to cell density. The phospho-specific reagents enable screening of the effects of various treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals) or activators on Histone H3 phosphorylation.
