Hexokinase-3 Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA

Assay Genie's Cell-Based ELISA Kit offers a lysate-free, high-throughput colorimetric solution for profiling hexokinase-3 protein expression directly in cultured adherent cells. The indirect ELISA format uses hexokinase-3-specific primary antibodies and HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies, with detection read at 450 nm following substrate addition.

Designed for relative quantification of hexokinase-3 in cultured cells, the assay also supports screening of treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals), or activators. An included anti-GAPDH monoclonal antibody serves as an internal positive control for normalizing target absorbance values, while Crystal Violet whole-cell staining is used to determine cell density so absorbance readings can be normalized to cell amounts.

Reactive with human hexokinase-3, the kit serves research into glucose metabolism and related disease contexts including cancer, diabetes, and neurodegenerative disorders. The dynamic range is greater than 5000 cells. Storage is at 4 °C with a stability of six months.
