HDAC5 (Phospho-Ser259)Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

Designed for measuring phosphorylated HDAC5 in cultured cells, this Assay Genie Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit offers a lysate-free, high-throughput workflow that detects HDAC5 protein phosphorylation and expression profiles in cells. Using a colorimetric detection at 450 nm in an indirect ELISA format, the assay captures HDAC5 (Phospho-Ser259) with target-specific primary antibodies, while HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies bind the Fc region of the primary antibody, enabling a catalytic colorimetric reaction upon substrate addition.

The kit supports a dynamic range of > 5000 cells and is reactive with human and mouse samples. Two normalisation approaches are included: a monoclonal anti-GAPDH antibody serves as an internal positive control, and a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining step can be used to determine cell density so that results may be normalised to cell amounts.
