HDAC1 Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Cell-Based ELISA Kit is designed for the qualitative determination of HDAC1 protein expression in cultured cells, with a dynamic range of > 5000 cells. Using an indirect ELISA format with colorimetric detection measured at 450 nm, the kit is reactive with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples, including serum, plasma, and lysate samples.

HDAC1-specific primary antibodies capture the target, while HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies catalyze a colorimetric reaction upon substrate addition. A monoclonal antibody specific for human GAPDH is included as an internal positive control for normalizing target absorbance values. Following the colorimetric measurement, a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining method can be used to determine cell density, allowing absorbance values to be normalized to cell amounts.

Suitable for adherent cells, the assay supports measurement of relative HDAC1 levels and the screening of treatments, inhibitors, or activators for their effects on HDAC1 expression. Storage is at 4°C for 6 months.
