HBP1 Transcription Factor Activity Assay

The HBP1 Transcription Factor Activity Assay from Assay Genie is a DNA-binding ELISA kit that quantifies the DNA-binding activity of HMG-box transcription factor 1 (HBP1) in nuclear and cell lysates. HBP1 functions as a transcriptional repressor involved in p53-mediated cell cycle arrest and Wnt signaling, and the kit uses a plate-immobilized oligonucleotide containing the HBP1 consensus binding sequence to capture active protein from your extract. Bound HBP1 is then detected with a specific antibody and a colorimetric readout read on a standard microplate reader.
