Guinea pig IL1B ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's sandwich ELISA, double antibody kit is designed for the precise measurement of IL1B (Interleukin-1 beta) in guinea pig serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. IL1B is described as a pivotal cytokine involved in inflammatory responses and immune regulation, with roles in autoimmune, metabolic, and infectious disease research.

Sensitivity is reported at 9.375 pg/mL across an assay range of 15.625-1000 pg/mL, with colorimetric detection by absorbance at 450 nm. Linearity was assessed at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions (n = 5 each): serum 89-100%, 87-98%, 91-100%; EDTA plasma 85-99%, 82-100%, 91-102%; heparin plasma 88-100%, 84-96%, 87-105%.

Spike-recovery averages were 95% for serum, 95% for EDTA plasma, and 93% for heparin plasma, with corresponding ranges of 90-105%, 86-105%, and 92-105%. Reagents are stored at 2-8°C, with a stated shelf life of 12 months.
