Guinea pig IL15 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie, configured as a double-antibody assay, is intended for the accurate detection of Interleukin-15 (IL-15) in guinea pig samples. IL-15 is a cytokine involved in regulating immune responses, particularly in the development and function of T cells and natural killer cells. Acceptable sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, and the kit is stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

Performance characteristics reported by the manufacturer include a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL and a measuring range of 15.625–1000 pg/mL. Linearity values at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions (n = 5) are 86-96%, 95-102% and 86-101% for serum; 93-101%, 89-100% and 92-101% for EDTA plasma; and 88-100%, 82-96% and 90-99% for heparin plasma. Recovery averages are 99% for serum (range 93-104%), 95% for EDTA plasma (range 85-101%) and 95% for heparin plasma (range 87-101%). The procedure uses a biotinylated detection antibody, HRP-streptavidin (SABC) and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm.

The kit is intended for research applications in guinea pig models, including studies on autoimmune disease, infectious disease and cancer.
