Guinea pig IL13 ELISA Kit

The assay has a reported sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL and a working range of 15.625-1000 pg/mL, with kit components stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

Reported linearity for serum (n=5) at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions was 87-98%, 90-101%, and 95-103%; EDTA plasma (n=5) showed 85-99%, 83-95%, and 92-101%; heparin plasma (n=5) showed 82-92%, 82-101%, and 83-93%. Average recovery was 95% for serum, 94% for EDTA plasma, and 93% for heparin plasma. The procedure involves equilibrating reagents to room temperature, a 90-minute primary incubation at 37°C, a 60-minute biotin-labeled detection antibody incubation at 37°C, a 30-minute HRP-Streptavidin incubation at 37°C, 10-20 minutes of TMB substrate development in the dark, and absorbance measurement at 450 nm after adding stop solution. IL-13 is a cytokine linked to immune responses, inflammation, and allergic reactions, with elevated levels associated with asthma, allergies, and autoimmune diseases.
