Guinea pig IgG2 alpha/Immunoglobulin G2 alpha ELISA Kit

Assay Genie provides a Sandwich ELISA kit configured in a double antibody format for the quantitative measurement of IgG2 alpha (Immunoglobulin G2 alpha) in guinea pig samples, with colorimetric detection. The assay is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, with a reported sensitivity of 0.469 ng/mL and a standard range of 0.781–50 ng/mL. Reagents are stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.

Linearity has been demonstrated across dilution factors of 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 for serum (85–104%), EDTA plasma (82–100%), and heparin plasma (84–100%). Recovery values range from 86–105% depending on the matrix, with averages between 91% and 100%. The procedure consists of reagent and TMB substrate equilibration, a 90-minute primary incubation at 37°C, biotin-labelled detection antibody binding for 60 minutes at 37°C, HRP-Streptavidin binding for 30 minutes, TMB colour development for 10–20 minutes in the dark, and absorbance measurement at 450 nm after addition of stop solution.
