Guinea pig IFN gamma ELISA Kit

Designed for research into immune response regulation, inflammation, and defense against pathogens, this Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie quantifies interferon-gamma levels in guinea pig samples. The double antibody assay is reactive with guinea pig and validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, with colorimetric detection.

Performance specifications include a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL and a working range of 15.625-1000 pg/mL. Reported linearity spans 86-102% in serum, 83-96% in EDTA plasma, and 82-95% in heparin plasma at a 1:2 dilution, with comparable ranges at 1:4 and 1:8. Mean recovery values are 92% in serum, 94% in EDTA plasma, and 93% in heparin plasma. The kit is stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

The workflow involves equilibrating reagents to room temperature, loading standards, samples, and blanks for a 90-minute primary incubation at 37°C, adding biotin-labeled detection antibody for 60 minutes, then HRP-Streptavidin for 30 minutes. TMB substrate is added and developed in the dark for 10–20 minutes before stop solution is applied and absorbance is read at 450 nm.
