Each kit includes a pre-coated microplate, biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, calibrators, and wash buffer sufficient for 96 determinations. The standard curve detection range is 15.6 to 1000 pg/mL with a minimum detectable dose near 9.4 pg/mL, allowing measurement of basal gastrin secretion in laboratory samples. Investigators apply this kit to gastrointestinal peptide research, appetite regulation studies, and pharmacological investigations of gastric acid secretion pathways. A 50 uL sample volume is required per well, and the complete protocol can be finished within roughly 3 hours at room temperature. Reconstituted calibrators and prepared samples should be aliquoted and stored frozen to limit freeze-thaw cycles; the unopened kit is shipped refrigerated and remains stable until the printed expiration date.
