Guinea pig EGF ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of Epidermal Growth Factor (EGF) in guinea pig samples. The kit uses a colorimetric, double-antibody sandwich format and is reactive with guinea pig specimens. Accepted sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

The assay has a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL and a working range of 15.625–1000 pg/mL. Reported linearity across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 is 89–102%, 86–104%, and 90–105% for serum; 89–101%, 87–93%, and 86–98% for EDTA plasma; and 82–98%, 80–92%, and 82–94% for heparin plasma. Recovery ranges are 85–100% (average 95%) for serum, 85–101% (average 91%) for EDTA plasma, and 88–99% (average 93%) for heparin plasma. Kit reagents are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.
