Guinea pig C3/Complement Component 3 ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of complement component 3 (C3) in guinea pig samples, including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The kit uses a double-antibody sandwich format with a biotin-labelled detection antibody, HRP-streptavidin conjugate (SABC), and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm following stop solution addition.

Reported performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a working range of 0.313–20 ng/mL. Linearity in serum (n = 5) at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions is 94–105%, 92–101%, and 85–98%, respectively; EDTA plasma (n = 5) gives 95–99%, 83–94%, and 83–100%; heparin plasma (n = 5) gives 81–98%, 81–99%, and 80–97%. Recovery ranges are 86–105% (average 95%) for serum, 87–105% (average 94%) for EDTA plasma, and 89–102% (average 97%) for heparin plasma.
