GSK3alpha/beta Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

Glycogen Synthase Kinase-3 (GSK-3) is a key regulator of cellular processes including cell growth, apoptosis, and gene transcription, and its dysregulation has been implicated in cancer, diabetes, and neurodegenerative disorders, making it a valuable target for research and drug development.

The assay employs an indirect ELISA format in which GSK3alpha/beta is captured by target-specific primary antibodies, with HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies binding the Fc region of the primary antibody. A monoclonal antibody specific for human GAPDH is included as an internal positive control for normalizing target absorbance values, and the Crystal Violet whole-cell staining method may be used to determine cell density after colorimetric measurement. The kit is lysate-free and supports high-throughput screening of the effects that various treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals), or activators have on GSK3alpha/beta.
