GR (Phospho-Ser211)Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this cell-based ELISA kit is designed for the detection of Glucocorticoid Receptor (GR) phosphorylation at serine 211 in cell lysates, using a colorimetric method read at 450 nm. The indirect assay captures phosphorylated GR with phospho-specific primary antibodies, which are then bound by HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies that catalyze a colour reaction upon substrate addition.

The kit is reactive with Human, Mouse and Rat samples and is configured for use with adherent cells. A monoclonal anti-GAPDH antibody is included as an internal positive control for normalising target absorbance values, and a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining step can be used to determine cell density, allowing results to be normalised to cell amount and plating differences. With a reported dynamic range of > 5000 Cells, the kit supports high-throughput work and is intended for researchers studying GR signalling in stress response, inflammation and related disease processes.
