Goat PRL (Prolactin) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this immunoassay kit enables the quantitative measurement of prolactin, a hormone involved in reproductive health, milk production, and immune regulation in goats. The Competitive ELISA format, coated with antigen, is suited to research on reproduction, lactation, and overall goat physiology.

Validated for goat samples, the kit accepts serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Reported sensitivity is 18.75 IU/mL with a working range of 31.25–2000 IU/mL. Components should be stored sealed at 2–8°C and not cryopreserved.

The workflow uses a biotin-labeled antibody, an HRP-Streptavidin conjugate, and a TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm. Linearity and recovery have been characterised in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma matrices.
