Goat Interleukin 2 (IL-2) ELISA Kit

The Assay Genie Goat IL-2 ELISA Kit uses a paired-antibody colorimetric format in which a capture antibody specific to caprine interleukin-2 is pre-immobilised on the microplate. Goat IL-2 is a 15.5 kDa cytokine that drives T-lymphocyte proliferation and is widely used as a marker of cellular immunity in caprine vaccine, infectious-disease and reproductive-biology studies.

Each kit contains a lyophilised recombinant goat IL-2 reference standard, a biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, TMB substrate, stop solution, wash buffer, and coated wells in a foil pouch with desiccant. The standard is reconstituted and serially diluted to produce an 8-point curve; 50 uL of standard or sample is added per well, followed by detection antibody and conjugate incubations that total approximately 3.5 hours before TMB development and absorbance readout.

Unopened kits are shipped refrigerated on gel packs; the reconstituted standard and any working-strength conjugate should be aliquoted and stored frozen at -20 °C, protected from light, with repeated freeze-thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity. For research use only.
