Description

Assay Genie's Goat IgG (Immunoglobulin G) ELISA Kit is a sandwich, double-antibody immunoassay designed for the quantitative detection of goat Immunoglobulin G in biological samples including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and is intended for research into immune responses, infectious diseases, and autoimmune disorders, providing reproducible quantification of Goat IgG levels.

Sensitivity is quoted at 0.938 ng/mL, with a working range of 1.563–100 ng/mL, and the kit is stored at 2–8°C for 12 months. Reported linearity (n=5) across 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions covers 95–104%, 86–103%, and 90–105% for serum; 83–94%, 84–99%, and 83–96% for EDTA plasma; and 81–97%, 80–92%, and 83–96% for heparin plasma. Recovery (n=5) is 86–101% (average 93%) for serum, 87–100% (average 93%) for EDTA plasma, and 85–104% (average 97%) for heparin plasma.

The workflow involves equilibrating reagents and TMB substrate to room temperature, loading standards, samples and blanks on the pre-coated plate for a 37°C primary incubation of 90 minutes, adding biotin-labelled detection antibody (37°C, 60 minutes), then HRP-Streptavidin (37°C, 30 minutes), developing with TMB substrate in the dark for 10–20 minutes, stopping the reaction, and reading absorbance at 450 nm.
