GluR4 Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

Designed by Assay Genie, this Cell-Based ELISA Kit offers a convenient, lysate-free and high-throughput approach for measuring the relative levels of GluR4 protein directly in cultured cells. The assay uses an indirect ELISA format: GluR4 is captured by GluR4-specific primary antibodies and detected with HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies that catalyze a colorimetric reaction, which is read at 450 nm. A monoclonal anti-GAPDH antibody is included as an internal positive control to normalize the target absorbance, while a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining step can be used to determine cell density and adjust for plating differences.
