Gentle Collagenase/Hyaluronidase, 10mL

Formulated to gently dissociate extracellular matrix in sensitive tissue samples, this STEMCELL Technologies enzyme mix combines collagenase and hyaluronidase activity for primary cell isolation workflows. The 10 mL liquid concentrate is typically diluted into working buffer and applied to mouse and human tumor specimens, intestinal mucosa, lung parenchyma, and other organ samples where harsher single-enzyme preparations can compromise viability or surface marker integrity.

Researchers commonly incubate tissue fragments with the working solution at 37 degrees C for 20 to 45 minutes depending on density, then pass the digest through a cell strainer before downstream applications such as flow cytometry, cell culture, or single-cell sequencing. The blend supports release of cells embedded in collagen-rich stroma while hyaluronidase cleaves hyaluronic acid to loosen the surrounding matrix network.

Each 10 mL bottle is intended for research use only in vitro applications. For long-term activity, the product should be stored frozen at -20 degrees C and protected from light; aliquoting upon first thaw minimizes freeze-thaw cycles and preserves enzymatic potency across subsequent isolations.
