Gen (Gentamicin) ELISA Kit

Built around the competitive immunoassay format, this Assay Genie kit uses a microtiter plate pre-coated with coupled antigen. Gentamicin in the sample or standard competes with the coated antigen for binding sites on the anti-gentamicin antibody, after which an HRP conjugate and TMB substrate generate a signal inversely proportional to gentamicin concentration. Cross-reactivity testing shows 100% recognition of gentamicin with less than 0.01% cross-reactivity against streptomycin, neomycin, kanamycin, and dihydrostreptomycin. Matrix-specific limits of detection are reported as 5 ppb for muscle and 15 ppb for both raw and finished milk, with a sample recovery rate of 90%±30%. The kit supplies six liquid standards (0, 0.1, 0.2, 0.4, 0.8, and 2.4 ppb) for curve construction, a 7 mL vial of HRP conjugate, 7 mL of antibody working solution, 6 mL each of substrate reagents A and B, 25 mL of 20× concentrated wash buffer, and 100 mL of 10× concentrated tissue extraction solution. The protocol runs at 25°C with a 30 min plus 15 min incubation sequence and requires a microplate reader, homogenizer, oscillator, centrifuge, and single- or multichannel micropipettes covering 20–200 µL and 100–1000 µL. Unopened kits should be stored at 2°C to 8°C; do not freeze any components, and reseal unused microwells in the original foil pouch with desiccant to preserve activity through the printed expiration date.
