G3BP-1 Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

This in-Cell ELISA kit from Assay Genie provides a high-throughput, lysate-free solution for detecting G3BP-1 protein levels in cultured cells, including adherent cells. G3BP-1 is a key protein involved in stress granule formation and the regulation of cellular stress responses, and its dysregulation has been linked to cancer, neurodegenerative disorders, and viral infections. The kit is suited for measuring relative G3BP-1 amounts in cultured cells, as well as for screening the effects of treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals), or activators on G3BP-1 expression, with a dynamic range of > 5000 Cells.

Qualitative determination of G3BP-1 is achieved via an indirect ELISA approach in which G3BP-1-specific primary antibodies capture the target, and HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies bind the Fc region of the primary antibody to catalyze a colorimetric reaction upon substrate addition. The detection method is colorimetric, measured at 450 nm, with reactivity against Human and Mouse samples. The assay includes a monoclonal GAPDH antibody for use as an internal positive control in normalizing target absorbance values, and Crystal Violet whole-cell staining to determine cell density for further normalization. The kit is stored at 4°C for 6 months.
